I remember stitching this raven while watching the mist roll in over the water. There is something about the raven—a symbol of wisdom and new beginnings—that felt so right paired with the “Today is full of possibilities” quote. When you’re living a nomadic life, every sunrise truly does bring a brand-new set of possibilities, and I wanted this card to capture that mysterious, exciting energy.
I used a heavy black background to make the hand-sewn details pop and finished the corners with teardrop-shaped ruby gems. The crown of roses on the skull is meticulously stitched with tiny black accents for depth. It’s a bold, tactile piece of art that’s meant for someone starting a new chapter, or just someone who appreciates the beautiful mystery of the road.
