“Shine Like the Whole Universe” Handmade Stitched Card

  • Hand-sewn from the road (literally—made at a dinette table in a ’73 Westy).

  • Tactile, stitched skull motif with playful googly-eye details.

  • “Shine like the whole universe is yours” sentiment.

  • Includes a premium black envelope for that perfect piece of snail mail.

Let’s be real: drugstore cards are boring, and your inbox is probably a disaster. Remember when getting mail was an event? I’m bringing that back, one stitch at a time.

I’m a storyteller by trade and a nomad by choice, currently navigating life from a 1973 VW bus named Buster. These cards are my “road fuel”—hand-sewn at campgrounds and rest stops to keep the wheels turning and the stories flowing.

This particular card features one of my favorite things: a skull. I know, I know—skulls are supposed to be “serious,” but they’ve always made me laugh. This one is all dressed up with googly eyes and a Rumi quote because we all contain multitudes, right? It’s a mix of old-school craft and eclectic soul, perfect for my fellow Gen Xers who still appreciate the weight of a heavy cardstock and the tactile feel of actual thread.

It’s art, it’s a message, and it’s a tiny piece of the road. Send it to someone who needs to hear they’re the whole universe, or keep it for yourself and stick it in a frame. Who says snail mail can’t be badass?
